Cliff Hollow Cornwall

Had a great girlie weekend away in Cornwall at a holiday home of a friend. The colour of the landscape was perfect for my new graphitint pencils.
My scanner does not render green well, so the colour is not too accurate on this scan.

Graphitint pencils

Having fun with my new graphitint pencils.

The photo of the Folio is printed on Safmat (from Letraset), a transparent adhesive film - great for sticking photos to your journal without adding too much bulk.

XmasDecorations

This spread was in response to a challenge on the 'Love This Journal' Yahoo group - to draw your favourite christmas ornaments. I decided to do a page on two of the decorations made by the children a few years ago, and still carefully preserved.

Drawn with Pitt Pen in Moleskine Sketchbook with watercolour pencils, and PanPastel for the border.

42nd-street

Went to see a great production of 42nd Street for my birthday.

I didn't have any black acrylic or gesso on hand, so I used the kids Poster paint, not really ideal as it is not waterproof when dry and smears a lot. Had to seal it with fixative to work on it further. The neon signs were drawn with gold pilot pen and coloured with watercolour pencils.
